The SWOAFP is excited to announce that our December meeting will be a tour of the Horseshoe Casino located in downtown Cincinnati. John Howard, VP of Finance for Horseshoe Cincinnati, will be leading the tour and Q&A session. You can read more about Mr. Howard below.
Parking in the casino's garage is free of charge. Please meet in River Room B by 4:30pm, which is located on the Pavilion level (the floor above the main casino).
A Tuscan-inspired dinner and refreshments will be provided by SWOAFP at the conclusion of the tour in River Room B.

John Howard serves as the Vice President of Finance for the Horseshoe Cincinnati. He came to the property from Horseshoe Cleveland where he served as Director of Finance on the team that opened that casino in May 2012. Prior to joining Horseshoe Cleveland, John was Director of Finance for Horseshoe Southern Indiana.
John joined Caesars in 2005 as a senior marketing analyst at Caesars Indiana. He spent 3 years in Atlantic City as a Director of Planning & Analysis at the Harrah’s and Bally’s properties. In 2009, he arrived at the Horseshoe Southern Indiana and launched the Continuous Improvement initiative which helped increase efficiency and lift customer service scores to all-time highs. Prior to joining the gaming industry, Howard worked for seven years as a financial analyst for a number of prominent institutions, including American Express and Humana.
John received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Wittenberg University and earned a J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law. He went on to obtain an M.B.A. from the University of Florida. He is originally from Louisville, Kentucky.
